Bible Study, Noon and Evening, is suspended on Wednesday, November 27th.  Everyone is encouraged to prepare and be in Worship Service Thursday, Thanksgiving Day.

Teachers needed for the Teen Sunday School Class, and for the Wednesday evening Youth Bible Study Class. Please see Rev. Owens.

Thanksgiving Day Worship Service will be Thursday, November 28, 2019 from 11 a.m. – 12 noon in the Sanctuary.  Encourage others to come and worship with us. The guest preacher for the Thanksgiving Day Service will be Rev. Kenneth Wells, Locks Creek A. M. E. Zion Church.

The HCMU Christmas Celebration (formerly named the Pastors’ Breakfast) will be Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 9 a.m. in the CRC.  The cost for individuals is $10 per person and is due before the first Sunday in December.  See Mission President Deborah Baker for other information.  Yes, wear your Christmas colors and sweaters.

Get ready for Christmas Ministry Program… need actors, singers, and dancers.  Traditional speeches available for K-12 years old.  The first Christmas Play Rehearsal, Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. following the HCMU Christmas Breakfast.

The UMBA Youth Christmas Concert is scheduled for Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church, Parkton, NC. 

The Hoke County Civic League Annual Christmas Cheer Services is Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 7 p.m. in Full Gospel Church.  Everyone is invited to the worship services.

Ladies Day Out! We are planning a shopping trip for Saturday, December 14, 2019 to either Tanger Outlets in Mebane, NC or Concord Mills Outlet Mall in Concord, NC. (cast your choice as you sign up). More details to follow. Sign up in the office area by the 4th Sunday, so that we can plan accordingly. Contacts are: Alison White, Regena McLaughlin or Deborah Baker. The Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Banquet will be held January 20, 2019 at the Conference B Headquarters.  Please see Sis. Ellen McNeill for tickets.
